Can my boots be resoled?

In theory, any boot with a welted (stitched) sole can be resoled.  Unfortunately, finding a cobbler or shoe repair person to resole boots can be difficult.  

If your boots are made by Red Wing Shoe Company in the US, we will gladly send them back to the factory to have them put a new sole on for a fee. 

Do you do alterations?

We offer free basic hemming on any item purchased.  We no longer offer alterations on outside merchandise. 

I think my boots might be defective? What should I do?

Any warranty question needs to be addressed in our store.  We must see the product in question to begin to make a decision about the warranty.  Each warranty question is handled on an individual basis and management's decision regarding warranties is final. 

It is in the customer's best interest to bring any product with a warranty question to the store as soon as possible, because warranties are based on the date of purchase and the amount of wear.  The sooner a problem is brought to our attention, the more we may be able to do for the customer.

Layaway

Minimum 25% Deposit

Monthly Payment of at least $10

Maximum term is 4 months, with all layways out by Dec. 24th

Layaway deposits and payments cannot be refunded

Layaway items may be exchanged within the first 30 days

Exchanges and Refunds

Merchandise may be EXCHANGED within 30 DAYS of purchase.  Merchandise must be in original, resalable condition, with original tags, boxes, etc.

Merchandise may be RETURNED for a REFUND within 30 DAYS of purchase, but it must be accompanied by a RECEIPT.  Cash will be refunded for purchases made using cash or check; Credit/debit card purchases will be credited back to card used.

NOTE: NO REFUNDS OR CREDIT CARD CREDITS ARE GIVEN AFTER CHRISTMAS ON MERCHANDISE PURCHASED BEFORE CHRISTMAS!

Any item returned must be in NEW CONDITION, WORN ITEMS MAY NOT BE RETURNED!

Items worn out of the store cannot be returned. 

It is our goal to provide our customers with the best fit possible when selling shoes or boots, however shoe fitting is not an exact science.  We encourage all customers purchasing footwear to try on both shoes in the store and to try them on again in their home before wearing them out or to work.  Once footwear has been worn in a work or outdoor environment, they cannot be exchanged for any reason. 

Christmas Exchanges

Items purchased before Christmas may be exchanged after Christmas until JANUARY 31st.  

NO REFUNDS OR CREDIT CARD CREDITS ARE GIVEN AFTER CHRISTMAS ON MERCHANDISE PURCHASED BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

We will gladly exchange or issue store credit.

Warranties

Most of our vendors offer a 1 YEAR LIMITED MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY.  This warranty generally covers any defect that is the responsibility of the manufacturer.

It does NOT cover USE OR ABUSE, nor does it guarantee a product to last for one year.  The amount a product is used will determine its lifetime.  Management makes the FINAL DECISION regarding all warranty issues.
